Full-Time Police Officer
Immediate opportunity for an open position as a full-time Police Officer with the Trenton Police Department. Applicants must be either a certified police officer or be MCOLES certifiable as a police officer in the State of Michigan, at the time of hire. Strongly prefer a minimum of an associate’s degree or completion of 60 credit hours in law enforcement or related curriculum.
Applicants must meet all MCOLES and City employment standards, including an excellent driving record. Selected candidates must successfully complete a thorough background investigation, oral interviews, physical exam including drug screen, and psychological evaluation.
Wages & Benefits
The current wages for Patrol Officer start at $45,669 and reach a maximum of $69,931 after 5 years of service. A comprehensive benefits package is provided including:
