The Historic Trenton Cultural Center is completely different from any other popular event venue. From the quaint quarters of the farm house, to the exquisite formal and informal gardens that grace the landscape, the property comes alive with historic charm - elevating your special event from the predictable to the extraordinary!

Whether you are hosting a small business meeting over morning coffee, celebrating a special occasion such as a shower, birthday or graduation or planning an open house, the Cultural Center offers all the comforts of home.

A historic look...

On the corner of Edsel Drive and West Road in Trenton, Michigan, is the property that is now known as the Emily Bridge Frank Cultural Center.

The Bridge Farm was officially established in 1901 and was one of the first dairy farms in the area.

Emily, the only daughter of William and Anna (Mans), was seven years old when her family took residency and she lived here her entire life until she passed in 1972. She married Arthur Frank 1952, founded the Trenton Branch of the Woman’s National Farm and Garden Association, and was well known for her collection of antiques, Currier & Ives prints, and butter molds. She was a Detroit school teacher but passion was her orchard and gardens of flowers, and she owned and operated the Flower Bell, a flower shop and greenhouse that was adjacent to the farmhouse.

Upon her passing, she willed most of her collection of antiques and artifacts to the Henry Ford Museum and left the City of Trenton her estate to be used as a cultural center. Today, it hosts an array of art and gardening programs, musical performances and special events!

  • Outdoor grounds cannot be rented by itself.
  • Barn cannot be rented.
  • Rentals may be scheduled up to 1 year in advance.

Sunday-Thursday: 8 a.m.-11 p.m.
Friday & Saturday: 8 a.m.-Midnight

The beautifully maintained gardens will excite all your senses. From the mix of vibrant colors and the blend of sweet smelling aromas to the wide range of shapes and textures, the gardens offer a picturesque backdrop for your event.

The Garden Angels and other volunteers watch over and care for the many gardens that surround the farmhouse and grounds.
