It is our primary interest to keep participants and staff safe during inclement weather and uncertain conditions that otherwise threaten their safety. In the event that severe weather approaches the area, the Kennedy Aquatic Center management will closely monitor local radar and weather reports. If thunder is heard or lightning is seen, the Kennedy Aquatic Center management will close the pool and guests will be asked to exit the water and pool deck. The locker rooms will remain open until conditions allow for re‐opening the pools.
MINIMUM CAPACITY POLICY
In order to maintain fiscal responsibility, the Parks and Recreation Department reserve the right to cancel any open swim session within 24 hours of any session that has less than 25 pre‐reservations. Those registered will be given the opportunity to change their reservation to another open swim session.
REFUND POLICY
Kennedy Aquatic Center strives to remain open during scheduled hours, but for safety reasons cannot be open during heavy rains, lightning and thunder. If the pool closes due to weather, contamination or for any reason deemed necessary by the Kennedy Aquatic Center management; we will not issue refunds. Patrons will receive an automatic credit to their account if an open swim session is closed within one hour of opening. No
